In 2013, the Soho House Group engaged me to provide executive coaching for all 26 general managers on its board.
Challenge
Soho House aimed to enhance its general managers’ leadership by fostering self-awareness and emotional intelligence. To this end, each manager completed an assessment using the Reiss Profile to generate a tailored personality profile, which formed the basis for in-depth coaching sessions in London.
Approach
In structured coaching sessions, we explored each manager’s personal drivers, leadership style, and areas for growth. The focus was on translating self-awareness into practical leadership improvements—enhancing decision-making, communication, and team engagement.
Result
The coaching empowered managers with deeper self-awareness, improved leadership agility, and a stronger ability to navigate team dynamics. By fostering emotional intelligence and strategic reflection, Soho House strengthened its leadership foundation, ensuring its managers could lead with empathy, insight, and creativity.
