I worked with Fabian and his team for seven years to transform the WorldWebForum into Switzerland’s premier digital business conference. We reimagined it as a high-energy, TV-like experience—seamless, dynamic, and engaging.
Challenge
The WorldWebForum wanted to evolve from a niche industry gathering into a globally recognized business conference. While it attracted top speakers, the event lacked a cohesive, engaging format to capture its audience fully. The challenge was to shift from a traditional conference to an immersive, high-production experience that delivered content with the impact of a live show.
Approach
I helped redesign the event’s structure, applying storytelling and live production techniques inspired by television. We optimized session flow, creating seamless speaker transitions, high-impact visuals, and an overarching narrative that connected every moment. By integrating showmanship—engaging moderation, well-timed discussions, and an electrifying stage presence—we turned the event into a compelling, continuous experience.
Result
From 2013 to 2020, the WorldWebForum grew from 250 to 1,500+ attendees, attracting participants from over 30 countries. The shift to a TV-like format elevated its reputation, making it one of Europe’s standout business conferences. By blending world-class content with a dynamic, immersive format, we created Switzerland’s leading digital business event, bridging Swiss industries with global thought leaders and setting a new standard for conference production.
