For over a decade, I’ve helped shape APX’s accelerator program, supporting startups in storytelling, strategy, and pitching while hosting impactful demo days.
Challenge
APX, a leading early-stage accelerator by Axel Springer and Porsche, provides funding and mentorship to high-potential startups across Europe. To secure follow-on investment, founders needed to master the art of pitching—articulating their vision, traction, and business model in a way that captivated investors. Many struggled to distill their complex ideas into concise, compelling narratives that differentiated them in a competitive landscape.
Approach
For over a decade, I have helped APX founders craft investor pitches through storytelling, strategic messaging, and pitch delivery. Beyond communication, I have helped shape business strategies. I also created Pitch Tuesday, the accelerator’s core communication platform, where startups regularly present to investors, corporate partners, universities, and industry experts. Through weekly training, demo days, and one-on-one coaching, I have equipped founders to pitch clearly and refine their vision.
Result
The impact was profound. Startups trained through this program consistently secured funding, often exceeding €2 million in follow-on investments. Pitch Tuesday became a launchpad, giving founders weekly exposure to investors and industry leaders. This led to funding, strategic partnerships, and valuable market validation. The initiative positioned APX as a benchmark for pitch excellence.
